Leaked renders show off rumored Motorola P40 with punch-hole camera
Leaked renders of a Motorola phone are believed to be of an upcoming entry to the company’s P series, most likely the P40. The images show the device with a punch-hole camera, which is becoming increasingly more popular with major smartphone manufacturers. On the rear of the phone there is a vertically aligned dual-camera setup, with a 48 MP sensor present.
A tweet from the OnLeaks Twitter account has shown an image of what is expected to be the successor to Motorola’s P30. 91mobiles has provided further details about the Motorola smartphone featured in the leaked image, and if all the rumors are accurate it looks like the Lenovo-owned company has a pretty decent product on its hands.
The images provided show a punch-hole camera in the top left-hand corner, which will offer more screen real estate to users, although there is a “chin” on the device bearing the manufacturer’s name. A rear-facing dual camera system featuring a 48 MP sensor is also on show, with a dual-LED flash located beneath it. The familiar Motorola batwings logo is clearly seen on the rear, and this will apparently have a fingerprint sensor underneath it.
In terms of size, the proposed Motorola P40 has a 6.2-in screen and measures 160.1 x 71.2 x 87 mm. Although there is a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device, it seems there is a 3.5 mm port included as well, on the top edge. The overall design has already been met with a warm reception.
