iPhone XI Max joins the party: Renders and 360° video leaked
Hot on the heels of yesterday's iPhone XI renders comes the iPhone XI Max in all its glory. The new CAD renders and corresponding 360° video come from OnLeaks and CashKaro, which also published the latest iPhone XI renders. Visually, the iPhone XI Max is as we expected; a slightly larger version of the XI that is only a minor refinement upon the iPhone XS Max.
Predictably, the XI Max will share many of its parts with the XI. Both devices will support reverse wireless charging, a new back glass design and an iPad-esque Ring/Silent switch along with three rear-facing cameras. Moreover, Apple will equip its next flagships with its upcoming A13 Bionic SoC and GPU, which we expect will offer a performance bump over the A12 Bionic SoC and GPU.
Additionally, the XI Max will have a 6.5-inch OLED display just like its predecessor and will measure 157.6 x 77.5 x 8.1 mm. Its camera hump will also be 1.3 mm thick, which takes the XI Max to 9.3 mm at its thickest point. By contrast, the XI will measure 143.9 x 71.4 x 7.8 mm and 9 mm at its thickest point. In other words, the XI Max will be thicker than its predecessor while remaining practically the same height and width. It also looks like Apple is retaining the same-sized notch and will not be bringing USB Type-C to its iPhones as it has with its latest iPad Pros. Same old, same old then.
