Garmin Alpha version 10.37 update with Morning Report improvements released for Fenix 7 and Epix smartwatches
Garmin has released a public Alpha software update, version 10.37, for Fenix 7 and Epix smartwatches. The update includes several improvements to the Morning Report, which displays a summary of your day ahead; the company added this feature to the wearables in Alpha version 10.33, released earlier this month. There are new tools, such as the ability to add, remove or reorder Morning Report items, and your Calendar and Step goal are now displayed. Plus, a background has been added to the Morning Report data pages, and several fixes have been made.
Other new features include a System Settings App, Hot Keys and Power Control access for the Settings app, and a QR code to make Bluetooth pairing simpler. Garmin has added Running Power alerts and a prompt to end Resume Later for an activity as you are nearing your sleep window. Two new power charts have been released via the update, for the data field and post-activity summary. The company has also fixed an issue which caused the battery to drain after you disconnected it from a charger.
Problems relating to the activity history list, Daily Suggested Workouts, Connect IQ Swim, and the Tides app have also been resolved with Alpha version 10.37. You can view the full changelog and download the update for your smartwatch here. Garmin notes that Alpha updates are not automatically pushed to eligible smartwatches but must be manually downloaded.
