Zenclora OS 2.0 launches with ZPM unified package management and more

Introduced in early 2026, Zenclora Linux has already reached a new major release milestone. Version 2.0 of this Debian-based distro comes with a new package manager that combines both software management and system management in one unified tool, multiple visual and functional improvements, high-performance bundles for gaming and development, support for external packages, and more.
Alongside many under-the-hood changes that have a minor yet noticeable impact on the overall performance and reliability of the system, Zenclora 2.0 "Adrenweald" comes with the following highlights:
- Zen Package Manager (ZPM) replaces Zenclora Commands and provides much broader software support.
- Improved hardware compatibility.
- Support for external packages such as Librewolf, Mullvad, and Signal.
- High-performance bundles for gaming and development.
- Automatic Nvidia driver installation.
- Visually overhauled Login Screen, Installer, and Plymouth.
- The updated Zenclora Fetch displays version codenames.
In addition to the above, the Zenclora website has been completely redesigned and features the Zenclora Cafe with a lo-fi audio ambience for coding sessions. The minimum hardware requirements consist of a 64-bit 1 GHz dual-core processor, 2/10 GB of memory/storage, and integrated graphics capable of 1024x768 resolution. For a smooth experience, it would be good to have a 2 GB quad-core processor, 4/25 GB of memory/storage, and a GPU with 3D acceleration support and 1080p capabilities.
The Zenclora Workstation ISO is 2.5 GB in size, and the redesigned website contains an excellent documentation section to help anyone get started.
