Xiaomi has expanded its Mijia series with the Smart Audio Glasses. Launched globally, the glasses are not smart glasses in the traditional sense, like the Xreal R1 or others with built-in displays. Instead, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses serve more like Ray-Ban Meta glasses (curr. $459.99 on Amazon) alternatives with built-in speakers and cameras.
In short, Xiaomi directly compares its new Mijia Smart Audio Glasses with its existing Smart Audio Glasses. Thinner than their Xiaomi counterparts, the Mijia Smart Audio Glasses also boast a day's longer standby time at 12 days and 13 hours of continuous usage.
Moreover, the smart glasses are IP54 certified, Bluetooth 5.4 compatible and will work with devices running Android 10.0, iOS 14 or newer. On top of that, Xiaomi has included four microphones, cameras for capturing short recordings and a touch gesture for activating a voice assistant.
The Mijia Smart Audio Glasses are available to order from today across the Eurozone and the UK. Currently, Xiaomi's new smart glasses can be ordered for €179.99 and £169.99, respectively. Please see Xiaomi's website for more details.
