Xiaomi launches sleek 6mm Ultrathin magnetic power bank in another country
The Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W is now available to buy in the UK. This slim battery pack first launched in Japan and more recently rolled out to parts of Europe. Buyers in the UK can now pick it up directly from the Xiaomi website
As the name suggests, the Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank appeals to users looking for a slim, unobtrusive power bank. It packs a 5,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery into a body that is just 6 mm thick, making it only slightly thicker than an iPhone Air. At 98 g, it's also light enough to carry around without adding noticeable bulk. Charging speeds top out at 15W wirelessly and 22.5W via the USB-C port. Sadly, wireless charging on iPhones is limited to 7.5W, much slower than Qi2 power banks.
According to Xiaomi, the power bank is compatible with recent Xiaomi, iPhone, Samsung, and Google flagship phones. It fits perfectly on the back of the iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro, and OnePlus 15 as shown in the photos above. It even comes in a similar shade of silver to the iPhone 17 Pro, along with a sleek anodized aluminum unibody.
In the UK, buyers can purchase the Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank 5000 15W directly from the Xiaomi website for £49.99. As we previously reported, it is also available to import via AliExpress and Alibaba.
