Xiaomi has announced plans to release a new Redmi Note handset globally, billed as 'the most powerful Redmi Note' to date. Currently, Xiaomi has only teased that the 'ultimate is coming' on March 29, again through an online launch event. Like past launch events, next week's will commence at 12:00 UTC, listed as 20:00 in reference to China Standard Time.
While Xiaomi has not teased any specifications for its 'most powerful Redmi Note', @_snoopytech_ claims that it will be the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Writing on Twitter, the leaker claims that the device will be available in 128 GB and 256 GB storage configurations. Additionally, this will be the Chinese version of the device, not the one that Xiaomi released earlier this month in India.
Hence, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will land in Europe with a Dimensity 920 SoC, not the Snapdragon 695. For reference, Xiaomi sells the Indian Redmi Note 11 Pro+ as the Redmi Note 11 Pro in Europe. Purportedly, the Dimensity 920-backed model will retail for €449 or €499 for the 256 GB version. Currently, it is unclear what RAM configurations Xiaomi will offer; it only sells 6 GB and 8 GB models in China.
