The YU7 is now believed to be unleashed as Xiaomi's second-gen electric vehicle imminently. Its SUV form-factor is allegedly confirmed in a new leak, which also purports to outline where its badges, window tints and carbon-fiber accents will be found. The "Hyper Autonomous Driving" car will also have a lot of custom wheel options, apparently.

The Xiaomi YU7 is now ready to launch having achieved MIIT certification in China, according to the famous and typically accurate leaker Digital Chat Station.

Its new and apparently official images suggest that it is indeed an SUV, unlike its first-gen forebear the SU7

The car might come with rear spoilers nonetheless, which are seemingly finished with carbon fiber. The same hallmark pattern is also allegedly found on the upper edges of the YU7's side mirrors and headlights.

According to some of the rear badge shots, the YU7 will, like the SU7, have a Max variant at launch (possibly the "691 horsepower" version from a previous leak). The car's name can apparently be picked out in either shiny silver or matte black letters, with the 'Max' suffix in red.

The car is also now slated to bear Xiaomi's logos (the traditional 'Mi squircle' included), as well as the OEM's name in simplified Chinese script, in various locations. The branding is also augmented by a new Hyper Autonomous Driving (HAD) accent for a side panel.

The MIIT has also allegedly documented the YU7's wheel options, which are many (26 in total) and potentially part of a high-performance trim in some cases.

However, most of them consist of the same standard six-spoke wheel with different accents. They come in a wide range, from white to rose pink, and might be intended to match body color options in addition to the navy blue shown in most of the alleged regulatory filing.

That part of the image dump also hints at a choice between red and yellow brake callipers. Accordingly, the YU7 might now be ready to join its immediate predecessor the SU7 Ultra on the Chinese market.
