Xiaomi unleashed the SU7 on the Chinese market with the goal of delivering 100,000 units of the car in 2024, despite the fact that it had only 1 factory for its inaugural EV at the time.
Nevertheless, it took the company just 275 days - or until November 13, 2024 - to achieve its goal, according to the latest reports.
The current number of fulfilled Xiaomi SU7 orders now stands at ~130,000, 16,328 of which were accrued in December 2024 alone according to China EV's DataTracker.
Xiaomi's CEO Lei Jun has announced that he believes the SU7 (currently available in vanilla, Pro and Max variants) can bring this number up to at least 300,000 by the end of 2025 - and that's just being conservative considering the current state of the Chinese car market, according to esteemed electronics industry leaker Digital Chat Station.
The OEM might also be able to bolster its emerging status as an EV maker with the forthcoming YU7 SUV, not to mention the top-end Ultra SKU of the SU7.
