Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch date for the first members in the Redmi Note 15 series. Scheduled to arrive the same day as Vivo's alternative to the Apple Vision Pro, only the designs of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus have been officially confirmed so far. However, recent rumours suggest that Xiaomi is preparing a cheaper Redmi Note 15 5G option for the series' August 21 launch event too.
In the meantime, influencers have started posting hands-on pictures with the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus on Chinese social media. Embedded below, the pictures show the device in four colours and from practically every angle. For reference, Xiaomi is expected to call these colours Azure Blue, Midnight Black, Cedar White and Smoke Purple, although it remains to be seen whether these will carry over to the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus' global launch.
From the rear, little appears to have changed from last year's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus (curr. $374 on Amazon). Xiaomi has adopted more subtle curves for this generation though, while also colour-matching the camera housing with the rest of the body and having each camera positioned behind dedicated lens covers. Moreover, the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus bears a more modern appearance from the front with slimmer bezels than previous Redmi Note models. Unfortunately, the timing of international availability is unclear for now.
