While Xiaomi has revealed the design of the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus (stylized as Redmi Note 15 Pro+), it hasn't disclosed the processor that powers the upcoming smartphone. However, one Weibo user has let the cat out of the bag.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus already appeared on Geekbench as the ‘Xiaomi 2510ERA8BC’, and according to the details of the result, it is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. According to Weibo user @完美编排数码, the processor is actually the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 which from the look of things will make its debut in the upcoming smartphone.
Last year, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 made its debut in the Chinese version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus, so it is not far-fetched to presume Qualcomm and Xiaomi will collaborate again this year with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. However, considering there's no evidence confirming the name of the chipset, it is advised that the information be taken with a grain of salt.
It is not known if the global and Indian versions of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will have the same chipset but since all three versions of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ (available on Amazon.de for €319) are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, we can presume the same will happen with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
