2026 Xiaomi Redmi A24: 24-inch monitor with 144Hz and ergonomic stand is very affordable

Xiaomi is now offering another monitor under its Redmi brand. The A24 is comparatively compact and is now available in an additional model variant with an ergonomic stand. The manufacturer also advertises an increased refresh rate of 144Hz.

Monitor Launch

Xiaomi first introduced the wallet-friendly Redmi A24 monitor back in August of this year. The manufacturer has now added a model with an ergonomic stand to its lineup, at least in China. The monitor retails for the equivalent of roughly $75, but an international launch is still up in the air.

Ergonomic stand included

The stand allows for height and tilt adjustments, which means it should be much more ergonomic. That said, this 24-inch monitor is VESA compatible (75 x 75 mm) and can be mounted on a desk or wall bracket for even more flexibility. However, the Xiaomi Redmi A24 2026 is still a low-resolution monitor by today’s standards, as the 23.8-inch panel sports 1920 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz.

FRC and good color accuracy

The panel further offers a native color depth of 6-bit and supports FRC, a technology for displaying a larger number of colors. According to Xiaomi, the sRGB color space is covered by 99%. The advertised color deviation of Delta E < 1 suggests accurate colors as well. The remaining technical specifications include a typical brightness of 300 nits, which is quite common for low-end IPS panels. The cheap Xiaomi monitor also sports HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 in terms of connectivity, but USB Type-C or any other premium features are missing.
