Deal | Wireless in-ear headphones Creative Outlier Sports now available for less than US$20
Just like the Koss Porta Pro, some products are made to stand the test of time. Sadly, wireless products that were released a few years ago use older Bluetooth versions and so their battery life is usually lower than the more recent offerings. However, when a product like the Creative Outlier Sports becomes available for less than most of today's cheapest no-name wireless earbuds, such a deal must be taken into account by the potential buyers on a tight budget, but those who just want to add an older product to their collection should check it out as well.
Available in blue/orange, green/black, and orange/black, the Creative Outlier Sports is IPX4 certified for protection from liquids, and the battery life of up to 11 hours on a full charge is still relevant. The frequency response of is 20 to 20,000 Hz and the impedance value is 16 Ω. The call quality should be acceptable, although this piece of audio gear lacks today's call enhancement technologies, so the best use scenario would be for listening to music or podcasts when running, working out, or riding a bike. Although there is only support for Bluetooth 4.1, the Creative Outlier Sports supports Qualcomm aptX audio, which is a big plus.
Since this looks like a clearance sale, the US$19.99 promo will probably remain live as long as there are still any units in stock, so you might want to hurry up. Unfortunately, potential buyers from outside the United States should keep in mind that Creative US is not shipping internationally, so they might need to check out their local Creative website or Amazon/other online retailers.
