According to the unofficial render image, the ultra-luxurious but also extremely expensive electric Maybach SUV is expected to receive a number of exterior changes that would clearly differentiate it from the more “affordable” Mercedes EQS.

With the Mercedes EQS, the respected German automaker already has a critically-acclaimed electric SUV in its EV lineup, which undoubtedly offers a great deal of comfort and luxury in the eyes of most drivers. However, very affluent buyers who think that the SUV variant of the electric Mercedes S-Class isn't exclusive enough might want to check out a recently released render image by InsideEVs.

This latest render image created by the talented graphic designers can be accessed via this link. It shows the even more luxurious Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV, whose camouflaged prototype has already been spotted in the past. Purportedly, the electric SUV gets a slight design overhaul including new air intakes on the front bumper and a different grille design, all of which should differentiate the expensive variant from the "cheaper" Mercedes EQS, whose SUV variant will likely cost at least US$90,000.

Furthermore, the electric SUV could come in an eye-catching two-tone paint job in two different shades of gray, which may be the most obvious difference to the Mercedes EQS. The same can be said of the opulent 24-inch Maybach wheels, and the interior is also expected to feature even more luxury and additional customization options. Supposedly, Maybach is planning to officially reveal and release its Mercedes EQS-based electric flagship SUV sometime next year, and we expect a starting price of around US$150,000.
