Ulefone has launched a new Armor X31 Pro affordable rugged smartphone. The company’s latest Armor X series smartphone comes with a 120 Hz display, a 64 MP primary camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, and a 6,050 mAh battery. It also has a dedicated night vision camera for outdoor use.

Ulefone, the rugged smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled its latest affordable rugged smartphone, the Armor X31 Pro. The company’s latest Armor X series smartphone has been designed to withstand more extreme environments than a regular smartphone. It does have an IP68 + IP69K water and dust resistance rating.

Ulefone’s new affordable rugged smartphone can easily survive drops from up to 2 meters (~6.6 feet). The X31 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, which is further expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card. It runs Android 14 out of the box. However, there’s no word on software support, indicating the software update may never arrive.

The 5G-enabled smartphone has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, a peak brightness of 800 nits, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Furthermore, the Armor X31 Pro features a 64 MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, which is complemented by a 25 MP night vision camera with a 77.04° field of view, and a 2 MP Omnivision OV02B10 macro camera. You’ll get a 16 MP shooter on the front for selfies and videos.

Moreover, Ulefone packs a 6,050 mAh battery into the rugged smartphone that supports 18 W wired charging. Sadly, there’s no wireless charging support here. Speaking about dimensions, the device measures 173.7 x 82 x 13.6 mm (HWD) (6.83 x 3.22 x 0.65 inches) and weighs 305.5 grams (0.67 lbs).

It has an independent glare flashlight with a maximum brightness of 120 lumens. Other features of the Ulefone Armor X31 Pro include WiFi 2.4/5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated customizable key, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC, and an FM radio that doesn’t need wired earphones to work.

The Ulefone Armor X31 Pro is priced at $399.99 (roughly €385) and will be available via AliExpress starting 1st January 2025, at a special price of $199.99 (roughly €190). It comes in three color options: Classic Black, Few Orange, and Lightsome Green.
