The Garmin Fēnix 7x Sapphire Solar is currently at an all-time low on Amazon. An early Black Friday deal has cut the price of the Fēnix 7X Sapphire Solar by US$200, or 22%. The GPS-enabled titanium smartwatch supports a variety of activities with the built-in Sports app, is compatible with both Android and iOS for notification support, and has a rated battery life of up to 37 days.

Garmin's Fēnix 7X Sapphire Solar is a premium, durable smartwatch and fitness tracker packed to the brim with features for outdoorsy and active types. The watch is currently on sale at Amazon for US$699.99, down from US$899.99.

For starters, the watch is water-resistant, with a pressure rating for up to 10 ATM (100 metres underwater), and it's able to track things like heart rate underwater without the need for a chest strap. It also packs a bunch of general health and wellness features, like a sleep score and morning sleep report, a jet lag advisor, and a pulse oximeter.

Garmin also includes things like contactless payments, music control via Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer, and safety and tracking features in case of emergency situations.

In terms of fitness tracking, the Fēnix 7X Sapphire Solar is equipped with multi-band GPS support and an altimeter for tracking things like running, cycling and mountain biking, rowing, hiking, swimming, skiing, and snowboarding, among others. It also provides navigation and mapping both on- and off-road via TopoActive maps, Nextfork trail maps, and the optional Garmin Outdoor Maps+ subscription.

Powering these handy features is a 280 × 280 reflective LCD touchscreen that is easy to read and sips power. The 51-mm carbon-fibre-reinforced case has a titanium bezel and backplate and houses a battery rated for 28 days in Smartphone mode. Using it with battery saver active or in GPS-only mode extends that even further, as does exposing the Power Sapphire lens to sunlight to allow it to charge.

The case also employs traditional button controls, in addition to the touch screen, so the watch is easier to handle with gloves on or in wet weather.

Garmin's Fēnix 7X Sapphire Solar generally retails for US$899.99, and while that's less than the US$999.99 MSRP it launched at, it's still a pretty penny. Fortunately, seemingly as part of an early Black Friday deal, the solar-charging fitness tracker is on sale for US$699.99 at Amazon.
