Since their rebranding, UMIDIGI, formerly known as Umi, have made attention-grabbing splashes in the Chinese smartphone market, with their Z and Z Pro devices, in particular, standing out. Both devices are flagships, however, and the OEM have more budget-friendly devices in the shape of the C Note and the yet unreleased Crystal. The former of those is set to get a successor and a post on Twitter revealed specifications of the new device.
The Umidigi C Note 2, codenamed "P383", will be a significant upgrade over the original C Note, with the device expected to be powered by MediaTek's mid-range SoC, the MT6750T—an improvement over the MT6737T on the C Note. It's also expected to have 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM, a step from the 32GB+3GB on the C Note.
Camera-wise, it goes from a Samsung S5K3L8 to a Samsung S5K3P3SX at the back.
