Fortnite players just received some major official and unofficial updates about new content. Epic Games has confirmed that various The Walking Dead assets are now available in UEFN and Fortnite Creative. Players can start constructing islands based on the zombie-themed TV series but must wait until May 16 for publishing. While not announced by the publisher, a leaker has also uncovered a Sabrina Carpenter cosmetic. The pop star is likely to become the next Fortnite Festival icon.

Thanks to its creative supporters, Fortnite is constantly refreshed with new modes, maps, and skins. The available editing tools are powerful enough to make gamers think they are playing distinct titles. Several of the latest The Walking Dead assets revolve around a central character, Negan. Negan will become a playable character on April 4 and an NPC on April 8, following an update. Designers can also utilize his fearsome baseball bat, nicknamed Lucille.

Not surprisingly, the The Walking Dead zombies, known as Walkers, will be roaming Fortnite islands. Players can access the Shiva shotgun, a modded pump shotgun to contend with mindless but ferocious enemies. Other additions include a post-processing effect that transforms the game's visuals into a comic book style.

Fortnite Festival is a popular mode that provides a rhythm video game experience. Each new season of the festival has been led by icons ranging from Snoop Dogg to Lady Gaga. A leaker, Shiina, caused a stir on X after discovering the same heart-clad microphone used by Sabrina Carpenter in game files. Players believe Carpenter will become the Fortnite Festival celebrity for the upcoming eighth season, starting on April 8. Gamers also have hopes for a Fortnite skin based on Carpenter and a Music Pass.
