The Snapdragon 865-powered Axon 10s Pro may be close to launch
ZTE has reportedly cleared some major hurdles to its Axon 10s Pro launch. This phone has already been announced, but not officially revealed in full as yet. It will be powered by the new Snapdragon flagship SoC for 2020, and is rated for dual-mode 5G. Otherwise, it may strike some as very familiar on its actual release.
This new device has gone through the Wi-Fi Alliance's validation process, which shows that it is also has the latest version of the connectivity in question, as expected. It has also passed through the TENAA regulatory authority in China, its initial market. This certification points to a phone with much the same specifications as the pre-existing Axon 10 Pro.
This includes its FHD+ 6.47-inch display, its triple rear camera display and its 4000mAh battery. However, ZTE has stepped up to LPDDR5 for its 6 to 12GB of RAM. In addition, its 128 to 512GB internal storage will be of the UFS3.0 variety. Therefore, it seems this new phone is a comprehensive refresh of the Axon 10 Pro 5G - one which, as ZTE has hinted, will be priced at about US$434 (3000 yuan) at launch.
