The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra may be more comfortable to hold than the S24 Ultra
With the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 behind us, the next Samsung flagship smartphone to look forward to is the Galaxy S25 series. While it's still months away from arrival, new info has surfaced that gives us an early look at what is believed to be a mock-up of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. And from the looks of it, Samsung's next top of the line flagship may be a lot more comfortable to hold.

Samsung seems to favor the flat-edge design and that is evident in phones like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S24 Ultra (available on Amazon for $1,299), and even the Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, there have been complaints that the flat edges dig into palms, making it uncomfortable to hold. That may change with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
An image shared on X by Ice Universe believed to be a mock-up of the Galaxy S25 Ultra shows the flagship will sport rounded corners. This small design change does transform the overall look of the phone when compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra but the more important change is that it should make it more comfortable to hold.

The rounded corners are not as pronounced as those of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus, and while we don't know what their successors would look like, we want to believe Samsung would still want to heavily differentiate them from the ultra model.
Save for the curved corners of the frame and screen, the image shows the Galaxy S25 Ultra will still have slim and uniform bezels, a centered punch hole for the front-facing camera, and a flat display. It won't launch until January 2025 at the earliest, but we can expect more details to surface before then
