A renowned leaker has offered new insights into the state of not just the Galaxy S25 Ultra but also the smaller Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus. Reportedly, Samsung has not only already locked in the trio's designs, but it is said to have been building samples for a few months.

The Galaxy S25 series remains a few months away from being officially announced. Nonetheless, information from reliable sources continues to emerge online. For context, the prospect of Samsung returning to a Qualcomm Snapdragon-only powered Galaxy S series next year and the Galaxy S25 Ultra featuring a more modern design comes in the wake of the company releasing the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,645 - 512 GB on Amazon), which landed last month.

Incidentally, an earlier rumour suggested that Samsung may ditch the 'Plus' model for next year's Galaxy S25 series, which would leave the standard Galaxy S25 and the larger Galaxy S25 Ultra. While that rumour was quickly refuted, Roland Quandt referred to that earlier rumour in a recent tweet, stressing that three Galaxy S25 models are coming.

Additionally, the leaker adds that Samsung intends to retain S Pen support for its next Ultra smartphone. Moreover, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to ship with the S Pen, implying that Samsung will continue to include the accessory inside its Ultra smartphone, having first done so in 2022 within the Galaxy S series with the release of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Furthermore, Quandt states that Samsung has been 'building samples for the S25 series' for the last two months or so based on what he believes are the final designs for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Currently, Samsung is expected to deliver its next-generation flagships in late January or early February 2025.
