The Samsung Galaxy A80 is to get a new internal-storage SKU
The Samsung Galaxy A80 distinguishes itself in 2019 by having no cameras on its front panel at all. However, its triple main sensors are housed in a custom-designed module that can raise itself above the display and flip around to take selfies at need. Therefore, its "Infinity Display" is not interrupted with a notch or even a punch-hole of any kind.
The A80 is sold in several countries, China included. This nation's TENAA telecomms regulator has recently updated its listing for this phone. It shows that Samsung has added a new SKU of the Galaxy A80 to it, suggesting that it will go on sale in this region soon.
However, this new variant does not seem to differ from existing Galaxy A80s, except in one respect: fixed storage. This phone originally launched in only 1 8GB RAM/128GB internal memory SKU. However, the 'new' ones have 256GB instead. Should they be released soon, it could be for somewhat of a mark-up over the A80's ~US$700 launch price. However, sadly, they are still not associated with any mention of microSD card support.
