A new Poco device has now made the trip over to the FCC for certification, with NFC support. This device is thought to be the upcoming Poco X4 NFC, a Poco-rebadge of the device that will debut soon as the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

Last week, we reported that Xiaomi was working on a global model of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G that would be sold as the Poco X4 and Poco X4 NFC in India and Europe respectively. It appears that the Poco X4 has begun its journey through certification websites, starting with the FCC.

A device with the model code "Poco 2201116PG 5G" has now made the trip over to the FCC for certification. FCC listings don't tend to giveaway hardware details of devices that visit but this Poco phone is listed with NFC, indicating that it's a global variant. Likely the aforementioned Poco X4 NFC.

Supposedly, the Poco X4 and Poco X4 NFC will both make their debuts in Q1 2022. Both phones are tipped to be rebadged variants of the global version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's recently launched Snapdragon 695, while sporting either a 108 MP sensor or Samsung's 64 MP GW3. We'll keep you updated on this.
