The Elder Scrolls VI will reportedly be called Sentinel — reveal expected in November

Bethesda is reportedly preparing to announce that The Elder Scrolls VI will be called The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel. According to The Verge, sources familiar with the company’s plans say the reveal could come as soon as next month, around the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
The Verge expects only a title reveal next month, rather than a full gameplay showcase or release-date announcement. Bethesda has reportedly shown Sentinel gameplay internally in recent months: Xbox CEO Asha Sharma received a live playthrough in August and praised the game’s scale, saying “the story is even greater.”
The report also claims Sentinel will be set in Hammerfell, a province previously featured in The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard and The Elder Scrolls Online. The game is also said to explore the history of the Elder Scrolls universe and uncover the secrets of its mysterious ancient artifacts that give the series its name.
Bethesda first confirmed The Elder Scrolls VI in 2018 with a brief teaser but has shared little information since. The long wait has fueled speculation about the game’s setting and whether it will remain exclusive to Xbox and PC following Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda’s parent company.
