Tesla's new 1:24 scale Cybertruck model levitates using magnets and features functional LEDs. It also has a somewhat steep price tag of $250.

Tesla has launched a collector's edition 1:24 scale Cybertruck model that levitates using magnetic technology. Priced at $250 in the US and 345 CAD in Canada, this model floats above a powered base and can rotate with a gentle tap.

The levitating Cybertruck model features precise dimensions of 8.98 inches in length, 3.28 inches in width, and 2.36 inches in height (22.8 x 8.3 x 6.0 cm), with a magnetic base measuring 6.14 inches by 6.14 inches and 1.28 inches high (15.6 x 15.6 x 3.25 cm). The Cybertruck itself weighs 0.65 lbs (293g), while the sturdy base adds a weight of 2.85 lbs (1.29 kg). For extra appeal, the model has 14 functional LEDs that illuminate the headlights and taillights.

Included in the package are the magnetic levitation base, a USB Type-C charging cable, and a 12V AC adapter. Setting up the model requires balancing the Cybertruck over the base until the magnetic force stabilizes it, which lets it hover and rotate as a display piece.

The Cybertruck has been one of Tesla’s most controversial and polarizing designs to date. Known for its sharp angles and stainless-steel body, the EV sparked multiple debates post launch.

The levitating Cybertruck joins Tesla’s growing list of branded items like the Cyberwhistle and Tesla Tequila decanter, both of which sold out quickly upon launch. Tesla also sells other practical accessories such as wall connectors, chargers, and branded merchandise for its fanbase.

While priced significantly higher than typical scale models, the levitating Cybertruck should be specifically appealing to Tesla enthusiasts and collectors looking for a unique display piece. However, at the time of writing, the model is out-of-stock on Tesla's website
