After the $250 levitating Cybertruck model, Tesla is now releasing something much cheaper and, arguably, more fun.

Tesla is quickly populating the Cybertruck universe of accessories and toy cars, trying to both entice its owners with new stuff and imprint the edgy electric pickup in the mind of kids or, let's face it, adults that love toy trucks.

After the expensive levitating Cybertruck magnet toy that cost the whopping $250, Tesla has now released something much more affordable in a form factor anybody can agree with, a wind-up Cybertruck racer.

The 1:43 diecast Cybertruck model is inspired by those oldie wind-up car toys that are oodles of fun to play with for kids and parents alike. Tesla promises that the wind-up mechanism and the whole toy body structure are durable and designed to survive the rough and tumble of propelling the toy Cybertruck forward with each passing release.

For some reason, the Cybertruck racer is outfitted with a broken window detailing, similar to the OMFG decal that Tesla sells for the real Cybertruck $55 that imitates, well, a shattered window.

This only adds to the fun, more so that Tesla is finally releasing an accessory that doesn't cost way more than similar alternatives like the pull-back Cybertruck diecast model one can find on Amazon for under $40.

In fact, the wind-up Cybertruck is one of the cheapest items in Tesla's sprawling store roster. Priced at $35, it has apparently immediately become a fan favorite, as it went out of stock the first day Tesla launched it.
