Ten Garmin CIRQA smart ring sizes reportedly surface in regulatory filings

A Brazilian regulatory filing has intensified speculation about an unannounced Garmin wearable. Anatel issued a certificate on September 4 that covers ten Garmin devices under a single homologation, listing codes from A05124, B05124, C05124, D05124, E05124, F05124, G05124, H05124, I05124 to AA5124. All ten variants were filed by Garmin on the same day. The manufacturer is named as Garmin International Inc., with a Brazilian firm acting as local applicant. Notably, the paperwork never mentions "smart ring" by name.

Although circumstantial and not definitive, the evidence linking these models to the CIRQA smart ring comes from earlier regulatory activity. In August, Indonesia's certification database briefly listed a Garmin product named "CIRQA SMART RING" alongside another entry for model AA5124 (the same number mentioned among the aforementioned Brazilian variants), before the listing vanished from public view the following day. Four other 05124 models—C05124, E05124, G05124 and H05124—were also certified in Taiwan on September 1.

Observers argue that ten variants of the same device would be unusual for a watch but completely normal for a ring line, since rings naturally cannot be adjusted in size and Oura's current ring ships in eight sizes. However, Garmin has is yet to confirm that it is developing a smart ring at all, so the filings remain speculation and guesswork for now.
