Alienware and Team Liquid have been bed buddies since the early days of professional esports. Dell has been providing gaming PCs and other resources to Team Liquid players since 2011 and it looks like their relationship will continue for the next decade under a renewed contract.
This time, however, Dell wants to engage more deeply with players and viewers in addition to the usual sponsorships and free gear. The manufacturer will be launching a virtual stadium called Liquid+ for Team Liquid fans, researching ways to better track player performance, and providing under-represented gamers with scholarships and resources to break into the esports world.
Team Liquid has launched a new website outlining the goals of its renewed partnership with Alienware and how gamers can get involved. Dell has become one of the biggest supporters of esports to the point where it even intends to build major training facilities for players across both North America and Europe.
