Following on the footsteps of the recent Lenovo Flex convertible deal is the Dell Inspiron 15 deal for about $100 USD less. The Dell laptop comes with similar specifications including the Tiger Lake Core i5-1135G7 CPU and 16 GB of RAM albeit with just half the storage and without the 2-in-1 form factor. Users who have no interest in using their laptops as huge tablets may find this Inspiron system the better bargain.
Most deals have notable drawbacks and the Dell is no exception. Firstly, its 1080p display covers just 45 percent of NTSC or approximately 60 percent of sRGB to indicate a budget panel. Videos and images won't appear as vibrant as on most other pricier laptops. Secondly, there is no integrated USB-C port even though the port is becoming increasingly common on accessories and other laptops. For a mostly-at-home laptop, however, these setbacks are generally tolerable especially since owners still get a decently powerful processor and integrated Iris Xe GPU considering the price.
Notebookcheck has yet to review the model and so we can't give our hands-on impressions of the system in question.
