Not too long ago, we reported about a new 2-in-1 device from Dell that had appeared in some leaked renderings. The hybrid laptop with the designation "Dell XPS 9315t" has now starred in some more high-definition renderings, and it will undoubtedly please Dell fans who are waiting for a new 2-in-1 solution from the popular Texas-based firm. On top of that, there seems to be a glimpse at Windows 11 widgets, although this could be just a mock-up by the concept creator or proprietary Dell software on show.
This time around, the Dell XPS 9315t 2-in-1 is shown off in a couple of modes, such as tablet form and laptop with keyboard form. No additional specifications are offered in this latest leak of the Dell XPS hybrid, although it is believed it will have a 13-inch display and be powered by processors from Intel’s 12th-generation U-series (Alder Lake). Connectivity options will include two USB Type-C interfaces.
Perhaps unsurprisingly considering the form design restrictions, this Dell XPS 2-in-1 does look like it would fit quite well in the current Microsoft Surface Pro lineup. However, it seems the XPS 9315t uses its attachable keyboard as a stand whereas the Surface Pro 8 has its stand built into the back of the tablet computer itself. It will be an interesting face-off between the two product lines when the Dell XPS 9315t convertible becomes available.
