Deal | Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus is the cheapest it's ever been at $700 USD with Core i5 CPU, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB SSD

The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus, which originally launched early last year for just over $1000 USD for even the base configuration, is now down to $700 with the signature Black Type Cover keyboard attachment. The Surface Pro 7 Plus sports 11th gen Intel CPUs, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and an integrated USB-C port. Though it's not the latest model from Microsoft as the Surface Pro 8 is already widely available, it still utilizes similar 11th gen series CPUs between the two models for similar levels of performance.

According to our review on the Surface Pro 7 Plus, there is a lot to like about the convertible Windows tablet. It sports a high quality IPS display, stable metal chassis design, passive and therefore silent cooling, and DisplayPort-over-USB-C. There is no Thunderbolt support, however, and power users may be disappointed by the limited 8 GB of permanent RAM on this particular deal.

The sale comes at around the same time as the launch of Intel's 12th gen Alder Lake-U series. Since the Surface Pro series has yet to be refreshed for 2022, it seems likely that retailers are trying to get rid of older models right now to make room for a potential 12th gen Intel refresh in the coming weeks or months.
