Steam gets more new free games just before the end of April 2025

Steam is always getting new launches, and a good chunk of these new releases are often freebies. Throughout April 2025, the platform got numerous of these free-to-play additions, and right before the month came to an end, more new free games were spotted. Here's more description about some of them:

• SoundKilla - a multiplayer with "dynamic" battles and "authentic" Caribbean vibes. This free game launched on Steam on April 25, and it currently has no player ratings.
• Gunbot Diplomacy: Blast Off - described as a top-down roguelite with unique enemies and a good dash of customization. This free Steam game became available on April 25, and it currently has a "Very Positive" rating with over 50 player reviews.
• Sword Road - an adventure entry that takes inspiration from the flash game Strengthening Sword and has combat mechanics similar to the games in the roguelite genre. It became available on Steam on April 22, and the free game currently has no player ratings.
• Killer Karnival - said to be a first-person survival title with puzzles. This free Steam game became available on April 25 and currently has no player ratings.
• Catacombs - an adventure title that lets players play as a Tabby cat and venture through Egyptian catacombs. It launched on Steam as a free game on April 22 and currently has a "Positive" rating with around 20 player reviews.
• WallSmashers - described as a physics-destruction-based infinite runner. This free Steam game became available on April 20, and it currently has no player ratings.
• Mountain's Memory - a horror walking simulator where players explore a mysterious mountain at night. It launched on Steam on April 18 and has no player rating yet.
• Sea Blindness - a 2D pixel-art RPG that makes players take the role of a deep-sea researcher. This free-to-play adventure entry on Steam became available on April 16, and it has not received a player rating yet.
• Schizophrenia - another horror game that's said to put players in a dark and sad environment. This freebie launched on Steam on April 14 and currently has a "Mostly Positive" rating with around 90 reviews.
• Forgetmenots - a story-driven adventure title with puzzles and physics-based interactions. This free game launched on Steam on April 16, and it currently has a "Positive" rating with 20 player reviews.
