Soundcore asserts that its latest portable Bluetooth speakers are tough enough to be thrown into a bag and accompany the user at a barbeque or bonfire. One might indeed be inclined to keep the Motion 100 or 300 around at all times due to their support of the LDAC codec, not to mention "wireless Hi-Res audio". They also boast at least 12 hours of maximum battery life and a "premium" appearance.

Soundcore has added 2 new variants to its Motion series of Bluetooth speakers. Unlike the X600, they are ultra-portable accessories with a wrist-strap apiece. It is detachable in the 300, but not in the smaller 100.

Despite their smaller size, both new speakers are rated for the LDAC codec, as well as certified wireless Hi-Res audio. They underpin these specs with a "premium, cold rolled carbon steel grill" over their front-facing drivers (dual 10Ws in the 100 and dual 15Ws in the 300).

The 100 and 300 are also IPX7-rated for "fall and winter adventures". The 2,600mAh battery 100 is rated for up to 12 hours of use between charges, almost as much as the "13-hour" 300 with a 3,350mAh capacity. Then again, only the larger 300 debuts with Soundcore's new Pro EQ.

It is projected to become available from October 9th for US$79.99 on Amazon or, whereas the 100 will be released in mid-November 2023 for US$59.99. Both speakers will be sold in their Mirage Black colorway only on those dates, with the only other Fern Green or Frost Blue alternatives held in reserve until early 2024 at the latest.
