Sony confirms mid-February date for next State of Play

Sony has confirmed the next PlayStation State of Play will happen on February 12 at 14:00 PT / 17:00 ET / 23:00 CEST. With an estimated runtime of 60 minutes, it is one of the longer State of Plays. Sony says it will feature a mix of first and third-party titles, which hopefully includes Bloodborne.
Highly-anticipated PlayStation exclusives, such as Marvel’s Wolverine, Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and maybe even more Saros will likely star the show. Bungie's troubled Marathon might also get some airtime and hopefully, a release date. Death Stranding 2’s PC port, too. There have been murmurs about a new God of War game, and now would be as good a time as any to show it off. PlayStation 5 Pro owners might also get some PSSR 2.0-related announcements.
No Sony event is complete without remakes/remasters, so we can expect to see a few thrown in the mix. The last few State of Plays also included stealthy hardware reveals, such as the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers and a 240 Hz gaming monitor. Neither has a price or release date, and Sony could shadow-drop it alongside a third PlayStation-branded piece of hardware.
