Sony Xperia XZ4 rumor roundup: 52 MP camera, 4400 mAh battery, full specs, and a deep purple color option
Sony hasn’t even announced the official existence of the Xperia XZ4 but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from going into overdrive. Arguably the most outlandish of the newest rumors is that the flagship smartphone will sport a 52 MP main sensor among its triple camera setup. Of course, this has to be taken with a pinch of salt, but it would certainly be a stand-out feature for the device if it came true. Check out the leaked picture at the end of the article, which may or may not be a true representation of the camera setup.
So, along with a giant 52 MP camera, what else could the rumored Sony flagship smartphone bring with it to help face off against Samsung’s imposing S10 range? How about a rather large 4400 mAh battery for starters? The XZ3 came with a puny 3300 mAh effort in comparison and if Sony really wants to blow away the competition and recapture the public’s imagination, it needs to produce an XZ4 device containing tantalizing hardware. Larger capacity batteries are the way forward now for smartphone OEMs.
But what if you’re the kind of flagship smartphone user who doesn’t care about battery life and isn’t impressed by a potential 52 MP shooter? Perhaps you could be swayed by the dazzling choice (by Sony’s standards) of colors? A leaked specifications table, which could be fake, describes the color options as black, silver, blue…and deep purple. A deep purple Xperia XZ4 would likely be quite striking, even in the rather tall frame the smartphone is expected to come in.
It seems plenty of leaked and rumored specifications about the Sony Xperia XZ4 flagship smartphone are now available, so this is what the device could possibly bring with it:

If all or most of these specifications turn out to be true, then Sony would undoubtedly have a flagship smartphone champion with the Xperia XZ4. Hopefully more will be revealed at the upcoming MWC Barcelona event.
