Sony Xperia XZ4 tempered film confirms 21:9 display ratio
While Sony still has to officially unveil the long-rumored Xperia XZ4, popular leakster Ice universe returns with an image of a protective film for the display of this upcoming flagship device. According to him, the size of the accessory suggests that the Xperia XZ4 is roughly the size of the iPhone Xs Max.
Although the movie embedded at the end of this article appears to be showing the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ4, the truth is a bit different, unfortunately. The movie shows a mockup based on the dimensions of the protective film received by the popular leakster Ice universe and it definitely looks interesting.
At the end of last week, Ice universe posted the following message on Twitter: "Exclusive: I received the tempered film of the Sony Xperia XZ4. This phone is too long. After measuring, the length of the XZ4 screen is 15.2cm, which is similar to the length of the iPhone Xs Max." He also posted an image that shows the protective film he received next to the iPhone Xs Max.
One of the answers that Ice universe received mentions the following highlights: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 8 GB of memory, 46.5 W fast charging, as well as a traditional 3.5 mm audio jack. Obviously, these should be taken with a grain of salt for the time being, but most Xperia XZ4-related leaks and rumors we bumped into so far also mentioned similar technical details.
Other specs and features that we encountered so far include a 13 MP selfie shooter, a triple main camera setup on the back, a 6.5-inch display with a QHD P-OLED panel, and up to 512 GB of internal storage space. When will it be announced? Since it's not at CES 2019, it might show up at the end of February, at MWC.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
