At CES 2026, Asus has updated the Swift Edge 14 AI with a new design and new Intel Panther Lake CPU options. Fortunately, the laptop doesn’t compromise on portability with a super low weight and a thin chassis. Alongside the Swift Edge 14 AI, Acer has also revealed the bigger Swift Edge 16 AI with the same core specs as the Swift Edge 14 AI.
Acer Swift Edge 14 AI
Like the 2025 Acer Swift Edge 14 AI, the 2026 Swift Edge 14 AI (SFE14-I51/SFE14-I51T) still weighs 0.99 kg (2.2 lbs.) and is only 13.9 mm thick. The laptop brings a refreshed aluminum-magnesium alloy chassis with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two Type-A connectors, and an HDMI 2.1 out. There is no SD or microSD card reader. So, if you need one, you’ll have to get a USB Type-C dongle (available on Amazon).
Powering the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI are the latest Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra 300 series CPUs. The laptop can be equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, which is the same CPU inside the just announced Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory, and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Graphics duties are handled by an integrated Intel GPU. A 65 Wh battery is responsible for keeping the lights on.
Moving to the front, the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI seems to bring a brighter 120 Hz OLED display than the 2025 model in the top SKU. Users can choose between either a 1,920 x 1,200 or a 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 400 nits of max brightness.

The Acer Swift Edge 16 AI brings the same general specs as the Acer Swift Edge 14 AI. So, users can equip the laptop with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H, 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory, and 1 TB of storage. The ports, the 65 Wh battery, and the Intel Wi-Fi 7/BT 5.4 modem are also shared by both the Acer Swift Edge 16 AI and 14 AI.
When it comes to display options, the Acer Swift Edge 16 AI (SFE16-I51/SFE16-I51T) brings a 16-inch 2,880 x 1,800 touch-sensitive OLED display in the top-end SKU. The display covers 100% DCI-P3, boasts a 120 Hz refresh rate, and has 340 nits of max brightness.
Acer has announced that both the Swift Edge 16 AI and 14 AI will go on sale in Q2 2026, possibly around the same time as the 2026 Swift Go 16/14 AI laptops.
