Alongside the new Swift Edge 14 AI and 16 AI, Acer has also unveiled the Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI as cheaper alternatives at CES 2026. Both laptops pack aluminum bodies with OLED displays and the latest Intel Panther Lake processors.
Acer Swift Go 16 AI (SFG16-171/SFG16-171T)
The Acer Swift Go 16 AI, like the Swift Edge 16 AI, packs up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H Panther Lake CPU, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1 TB of storage. The Swift Go 16 AI also shares the port selection with the Swift Edge 16 AI with:
- Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
- Two Type-A ports
- One HDMI 2.1 out
- A 3.5 mm audio jack
Around the front, Acer outfits the Swift Go 16 AI with a 16-inch OLED display. Users can choose between a touch-sensitive 1,920 x 1,200 OLED with 250 nits of brightness, a 1200p panel with 300 nits of brightness, or a higher-resolution 2,880 x 1,800 display with 400 nits of max brightness. It is a shame that you have to sacrifice high brightness to get touch support.
Finally, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI also packs a 5 MP IR front camera, a 70 Wh battery, and Wi-Fi7/BT5.4. The laptop weighs only 1.36 kg (3 lbs.).
Acer Swift Go 14 AI (SFG14-171/SFG14-171T)
The Acer Swift Go 14 AI is essentially the same laptop as the Swift Go 16 AI but with a smaller 14-inch display and a marginally bigger battery. So, the Core Ultra 9 386H, the max RAM/storage capacity, and port selection are all identical to the 16-inch model.
The key differences between the Acer Swift Go 14 AI and the Swift Go 16 AI are the display options and a bigger 71 Wh battery for the former. In addition to a touch-sensitive 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display with only 250 nits of brightness, users can also equip the Swift Go 14 AI with a 400-nit 1,920 x 1,200 or a 400-nit 2,880 x 1,800 OLED display. All three display options cover 100% DCI-P3.
Finally, being a 14-inch thin-and-light laptop, the Acer Swift Go 14 AI is smaller and lighter than the Swift Go 16 AI, as it weighs just 1.12 kg (2.5 lbs.).
Both the Acer Swift Go 14 AI and the Swift Go 14 AI will be available in Q2 2026. Acer has shared nothing regarding the starting price of the notebooks.
