The Swift Edge series originally debuted in a 16-inch form factor back during Computex 2023. Today, at Computex 2025, Acer is introducing the Swift Edge 14 AI Copilot+ PC powered by Intel Lunar Lake processors alongside the new refreshed Swift X 14 AI powered by AMD Strix Point APUs.
The Swift Edge 14 AI is an ultralight notebook that sports dimensions of 313.7 x 229.2 x 9.3/16.6 mm and tips the scales at just 0.99 kg. The laptop's Pearl White finish is made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, and Acer says that the chassis is tested to pass the MIL-STD 810H durability standard.
Acer offers several Intel Lunar Lake configuration options ranging from the Core Ultra 5 226V to the Core Ultra 5 228V, Core Ultra 7 256V, Core Ultra 7 258V, and finally to the top spec Core Ultra 9 288V. The integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140V (or Arc Graphics 130V for the lower SKUs) drives the display. The processor is paired with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 NVMe storage can be configured.
Speaking of the display, the Swift Edge 14 AI features a 14-inch 16:10 3K (2880 x 1800) 340 nits OLED panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The display supports multitouch and gets a Corning Gorilla Matte Pro coating to minimize glare.
Peripheral connectivity is enabled via 2x USB4 Type-C ports, 2x USB 3.2 Type-A ports (one of which supports Power Share), HDMI 2.1-out, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack. An Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 chip with Bluetooth 5.4 enables wireless networking.
The Swift Edge 14 AI comes equipped with an FHD IR camera that supports Windows Hello facial recognition. Additionally, a fingerprint reader comes embedded in the power button. The laptop features a Microsoft Pluton secure co-processor and is thus a Secured-Core PC.
The Acer Swift Edge 14 AI (SFE14-51 / SFE14-51T) will be available from June 2025 at prices starting from €1,799.
