Samsung reveals Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) specs via accidental website listing

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) hasn't exactly been a secret. Word about its development has been around since early 2023. Subsequent leaks gave us a deeper look into the tablet's specs, and now, Samsung has beaten everyone to the punch by accidentally publishing the entire Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) spec sheet on its website.

In true Samsung fashion, it lists the tablet's SoC as an "Octa-core" unit with a peak frequency of 2.4 GHz. An earlier Geekbench listing confirmed it to be the Exynos 1280. It powers a 10.4-inch TFT panel with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels. Like its better-specced counterparts, S-Pen support is also included, along with support for Samsung Knox and the ability to use your Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) as an extended phone screen. Samsung even throws in an S-Pen in the box.

There seems to be only one memory configuration (4 GB) for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). You can pick between 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage and expand it up to 1 TB with a microSD card. There is one 8.0 MP camera sensor at the back and a 5.0 MP sensor at the front. A 7,040 mAh battery powers the tablet. Other specs include a USB 2.0 Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 5 and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Exactly when Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) remains a mystery. Earlier, it was slated to launch alongside the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. It shouldn't be long, though, and given it is a budget option, it'll get unveiled silently via a press release.
