Retroid has already released a few gaming handhelds already this year. However, it now seems that it has started teasing the introduction of an entirely new model.
To recap, the company kicked off 2025 by unveiling what it now sells as the Pocket Classic and Pocket Flip 2. Incidentally, the latter is available with the same Snapdragon 865 and Dimensity 1100 chipsets as the older Pocket 5 and Pocket 4 Pro (curr. $174 on Amazon), respectively.
This time, Retroid has shared a rather cryptic teaser on X. Embedded below, the teaser links to the song Two Heads Are Better Than One by the band Power Tool. As a result, the likes of RetroHandhelds and others have suggested that Retroid could be working on its first dual-display gaming handheld.
The consensus appears to be a revised Retroid Pocket Flip 2 for the time being. At this stage, no other details about this unnnamed device are known. With that being said, we would not be surprised if the device was the Snapdragon G2 Gen 2-powered option that Qualcomm confirmed Retroid was developing a few months ago.
