Following the dummy units for the Galaxy S26 series that showed up online recently, a known leaker has shared official looking renders of the Galaxy S26 Edge. The renders corroborate the major design change Samsung seems to be going for, though it looks quite similar to what Apple is expected to do with its iPhone 17 series. That being said, it would be a welcome design change from Samsung’s years of plain design for its flagship series.
The renders come courtesy of OnLeaks in collaboration with Android Headlines, and they show all angles of what is said to be the Galaxy S26 Edge. The back of the phone has a camera island that spans across the entire width of the phone with the two cameras on the far left. This is the same design as seen in the dummy units. The power and volume buttons are on the right, as expected.
This design seems quite similar to the rumored iPhone 17 Pro models. In fact, dbrand, a popular phone skin and case maker, has revealed designs for its iPhone 17 series skins and cases, pretty much confirming the phone's designs ahead of the September 9 launch. The Pro and Pro Max models have a large camera island across the top third of the phone, which is what the Galaxy S26 Edge seems to be going for as well.
Coming back to the renders, at the front, the standard central selfie camera can be seen. The bezels are quite thin and uniform. The corners are rounded, just like the Galaxy S25 Edge, but the edges around the back seem a bit more curved. Of course, these are not the final product renders, as the publication points out as well.
The Galaxy S26 series will likely break cover in January next year but there have been quite a few leaks already, and more will come as we move closer to the end of this year.
