The Realme GT2 Pro might prove to be one of the most cost-effective Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered phones of 2022, if its starting price in its native China is anything to go by. Now, Realme's vice-president and head of international business, Madhav Sheth, has effectively confirmed that it will bring its impressive specs, and maybe its current attractive pricing scheme, to new markets soon.
Speaking in an interview given to Android Authority, the executive indicated that the GT2 Pro and its vanilla sibling would see a global launch "very soon". Incidentally, the OEM has had a new device approved for sale by the BIS authority. Known as the RMX3301, it is believed to be the full-fat Pro model for the Indian market.
Sheth also confirmed that the well-received first gen Realme Pad and Realme Book Slim would get successors - in the plural - in 2022. This new tip for multiple additions to their new lines might suggest the break into tablets and laptops must have gone very well for the heretofore smartphone-focused company indeed.
