Reviews for the Realme C85
Source: News Bytes

While the realme C85 5G is positioned in the entry-level market, it commands a relatively high price. However, its build quality, extensive battery life, and 5G connectivity make it a strong contender for those seeking a reliable smartphone. The value it offers in terms of AI features and versatility justifies the investment, especially as 5G infrastructure continues to expand. If there’s room for improvement, a more powerful chipset could enhance its performance further without significantly altering its price point. Nonetheless, the realme C85 5G stands out as a commendable option for users looking for a sturdy, feature-rich smartphone that offers great functionality at an accessible price. Orders for the realme C85 5G made at realme affiliate store, between November 21 to 30, would get a free 10,000mAh power bank, while orders for the realme C85 between December 6 and 14 would get a free 5,000mAh power bank. Offers from Home Credit, TikTok Shop, and Shopee are also available.

Realme announced the C85 on November 2, 2025, as part of its new generation of affordable 5G smartphones. The phone blends style with toughness. It’s IP68 and IP69K certified for dust and water resistance and even meets MIL-STD-810H standards, making it one of the most durable phones in its range. The C85 features a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1200 nits, ensuring smooth scrolling and good outdoor visibility. However, its 720 × 1570 pixel resolution and 254 ppi density mean you don’t get the sharpness of a Full HD+ panel. Still, the screen feels bright and responsive for watching videos or gaming. The phone’s design is modern and slightly rugged, measuring 8.4 mm thick and weighing 215 g.
