87.7% So much better than before: Razer Blade Pro 17 Laptop Review | Notebookcheck
It may have took Razer a few tries, but they've finally crafted a nearly perfect Blade laptop and one of the best gaming laptops for its size category. This latest Blade Pro iteration drops the inessential features of previous generations for a lighter, smaller, more efficient, and more streamlined gaming experience that everyone — and not just Razer fans — can appreciate.

Razer Blade RTX — A beast of a laptop, but can it work for you too?
Source: Ausdroid English Archive.org version
This is a powerhouse and simply isn’t going to suit many users, but for their target market its going to get some blood pumping but the price may set some blood boiling. Honestly – It’s an investment that many users simply aren’t going to make, but those that do and understand what they’re buying are going to be pretty darn happy with their purchase.

Source: Trusted Reviews English Archive.org version
Overall, the Razer Blade Pro 17 looks a really stellar premium package. While it’s still pretty hefty, this looks to be one of the most powerful 17-inch gaming laptops that is actually a portable by both name and design. My only concern is the limited configuration options, particularly the lack of a 4K display, as the Full HD panel won’t take advantage of the oodles of power on offer here.

89.4% Razer Blade Pro 17 RTX 2060 Laptop Review: How does it Compare to the RTX 2080 Max-Q? | Notebookcheck
The Blade Pro 17 has the fastest GeForce RTX 2060 we've tested thus far to be just 25 percent slower than the RTX 2080 Max-Q. Perhaps not coincidentally, it also costs about 25 percent less than the Blade Pro 17 RTX 2080 Max-Q SKU.

The Razer Blade Pro 17 is a phenomenal laptop in terms of design, boasting the same sleek angular look as not only the rest of the Blade collection, but the Razer Phone too. The 17.3in display isn’t the brightest we’ve ever seen, but the 144Hz refresh rate enhances the gameplay experience and the slim bezels mean the laptop chassis is similar to a standard 15in laptop.

In the end, the Razer Blade Pro is the most expensive in it’s class. It does have some advantages over it’s competitors, but you’ll have to do some thinking on whether or not it’s worth the extra price. So that wraps up my review of the 2019 Razer Blade Pro 17. Razer Blade Pro 17 RTX 2070 Max-Q

Razer is undoubtedly a globally renowned brand when it comes to making an impactful name within the gaming industry. Among the tech-savvy and celebratory participants of the undying geek culture, Razer is a brand which has garnered a tremendous following all around the globe thanks to its impressive lineup of gaming laptops that were released throughout the decade. Since the imploding rise of competitive multiplayer cooperative games such as DoTA 2 have peaked at the stage of a world tournament championship, Razer has done nothing but delivered their utmost best in order to cater to the up-scaled demands from the gaming scene. As such, Razer would proudly announce the Razer Blade Pro 17 as its newest addition to its decorated hall of fame, which guarantees a professional-level gaming experience to be brought to wherever one wishes to be. First and foremost, the Razer Blade Pro 17 presents itself as a smaller variant compared to previous Razer laptop models. This is meant to be an approach towards creating a more portable gaming laptop model for the sake of the user’s convenience. Reportedly, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is 25 % smaller than its predecessors, but it is fitted with a 17.3-inch display into a compact-sized body akin to a sleek 15-inch laptop. The screen boasts a refresh rate of 144 Hz to ensure that everything is in sync and aligned with the user’s gameplay experience. The impossibly thin 0.6 millimeters bezels magnify the screen to a degree which can only be described as cinematic for those who are eager to find out. It has become a fundamental principle that a premium brand gaming laptop model should comprise of high-performing components in order to be able to deliver its task. The Razer Blade Pro 17 comes equipped with a 9th generation Intel Core i7-9750H processor unit with a base clock speed of 2.6 GHz. It can peak at 4.5 GHz upon the activation of Turbo Boost mode. Alongside this powerful processor unit is also a GPU of identical caliber which is known as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q excels in the generation of in-game structure and graphics through proper usage of ray tracing technology. This particular technology simulates the behavioral pattern of environmental light in order to render a thematic and realistic in-game graphics. Users can undoubtedly immerse themselves inside of a virtually stunning world whereby one can experience the open world fantasy to the fullest or strive for their best to survive in an unforgiving calamitous world of zombie apocalypse. Razer's 2019 revision of the Blade Pro 17 pares away some of what set apart the last-gen model, but the trimmed-down design and ample pep make this luxe system appealing enough among 17-inch gaming laptops.

The Razer Blade 15 may offer ray tracing and one of the best performances found in a gaming laptop, but the lack of DLSS support, G-Sync and 1TB storage make that sky-high price difficult to justify.

The AU Optronics B173ZAN03.3 panel makes its debut on the Razer laptop to offer both faster refresh rates and faster black-white response times than any 17.3-inch laptop before it. The end result is a better 4K gaming experience than what other 17.3-inch laptops currently have to offer.
