Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart headed to PC on July 26 via Steam and Epic Games Store
Insomniac may not have given us a concrete launch date for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but it did have a trick up its sleeve. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, a game that has been exclusive to the PlayStation 5 since its launch in 2021, is now headed to PCs.
One can rest easy knowing the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC port will be (mostly) serviceable, in part due to it being developed by Sony-owned Nixxes, the developer responsible for bringing Horizon Zero Dawn, Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales to PC.
Those with relatively weak hardware will be able to enjoy Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC, too, as it works with every AI-upscaling tech on the market, including DLSS 3, FSR 2 and Intel XeSS.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart also supports ultra-wide monitors (21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 aspect ratios) for both gameplay and cutscenes. All controllers are supported, and gamers can even get a whole PS5 experience when using their DualSense (wired mode only).
It is available via Steam and Epic Games Store and will be playable on July 26. Those who pre-order the game now will get an in-game weapon and armour set as a bonus. The Digital Deluxe version of the game will include five additional in-game items. Sony promises to reveal more about it soon.
