This year's Black Week and Black Friday deals are in full swing, but Lenovo has also increased its discounts on older devices that are not officially part of the company's BF 2025 offers. Nevertheless, the ongoing clearance sale of the ThinkPad P1 is worth a look for bargain hunters who are looking for a laptop with a vibrant 4K OLED screen and dedicated graphics card.
Specifically, Lenovo has put the ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 dGPU with 12GB GDDDR6 and Intel Core i7-13800H on sale for $1,949 including free shipping at the brand's official online store. For reference, this sale price undercuts a previous offer from a month ago by another $50. This notebook originally retailed for over $3,000, so shoppers can take advantage of savings of at least 35%.
That being said, we recommend taking a closer look at our detailed review before ordering the ThinkPad P1. We reviewed a very similar model variant of this 4K OLED laptop and praised the colorful panel with full DCI-P3 colors, although we would've liked to see a higher refresh rate than the usual 60Hz.
Furthermore, the RTX 4080 should perform well in multimedia workloads, despite its rather low TGP of just 80 watts. This also means that this machine isn't necessarily made for gaming. Either way, this 16-inch workstation laptop also comes with 64GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB SSD. Since upgradable RAM is not a given anymore and the all-around specifications are more than decent, the ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 might still be worth considering for content creators and some other groups of users.
