AMD is reportedly gearing up to release new RDNA 3 GPUs in less than a month at Gamescom. According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AMD is allegedly launching “at least” two new Radeon GPUs in Q3, possibly the RX 7800 and the RX 7700. The leaker has also leaked prices for the new boards alongside the RX 7900 MSRP.

We mentioned previously that AMD is reportedly announcing the Navi 32-based RX 7800 and the RX 7700 GPUs at Gamescom 2023 next month. The RX 7800 is expected to beat the RTX 4070 by featuring the full implementation of the Navi 32 GPU alongside 16 GB of video memory. The RX 7700 could pack a cut-down version of the said chip with 12 GB of VRAM and is allegedly fast enough to trounce the RTX 4060 Ti.

Now, thanks to a new set of leaks from Moore’s Law Is Dead, we have an idea of the possible RX 7900, RX 7800, and RX 7700 MSRPs.

First up, the AMD insider who is the primary source of this leak mentions that the company is still unsure of how to “segment and price” the rest of the RDNA 3 lineup, so the pricing information and specific SKUs are still not final. The source is “100%” sure that Team Red is unveiling new Radeon boards at Gamescom.

Moving on to prices, the same source alleges:

  • The 70 CU RX 7900 could land between US$579 to US$649.
  • The RX 7800 possibly falls somewhere between US$499 - US$549.
  • The RX 7700 might cost US$399 - US$449.

Interestingly, these rates are in accordance with the figures All_The_Watts tweeted earlier.

Finally, MLID’s informant suggests that, although AMD plans to be aggressive with the pricing, we may not get to see rates “as good as a US$700 RX 7900 XT”.

Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long to find out what AMD has in store for us, as Gamescom is less than a month away. But, as is the case with many leaks, MLID’s latest report could have inaccuracies, so treat the information as preliminary.
