Acer is expanding its Predator gaming monitor lineup with a new 1,000 Hz high-end model. The Predator XB273U F6 is one of the few non-OLED high-refresh-rate gaming monitors on show at CES 2026. Specifically, Acer has gone with a 27-inch IPS panel featuring a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution and a 500 Hz refresh rate. Thanks to dual-mode technology, the refresh rate can be boosted to 1,000 Hz at a lower 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution, putting it in the same class as Samsung’s new 1,040 Hz Odyssey G60H.
It is unclear which exact panel Acer is using, possibly from LG Display, but the Predator XB273U F6 will be facing competition from the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500XD and AOC Agon AGP277QK. Both of those monitors use a 500 Hz and 1,000 Hz dual-mode panel from TCL CSOT. That said, Acer’s new model is listed with FreeSync Premium VRR for tear-free gaming, along with a 1 ms response time and a 0.5 ms overdrive mode.
According to Acer, the Predator XB273U F6 covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space and 99% sRGB. It is rated for 350 nits of brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The monitor also includes built-in speakers, although they are limited to 2 W drivers, and a fully adjustable stand with tilt, height, pivot, and swivel support. Connectivity includes dual HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack.
The Acer Predator XB273U F6 is expected to launch sometime in Q2, starting at $799.99 in North America and €899 in Europe.
