Plaud has launched the Note Pro, a sleek AI-powered recorder that transcribes and summarizes audio in 112 languages using top-tier models like GPT-5 and Gemini 2.5 Pro. It offers AI noise reduction and real-time highlighting of important moments, with multidimensional summaries to better understand the recordings.

Plaud has unveiled the Plaud Note Pro, an upgrade to its original AI-powered note-taking device.

Plaud Intelligence automatically transcribes recordings into any one of 112 supported languages, including industry-specific terminology, and can then create summaries using various ways of interpreting the information presented. Images and text can also be attached and used with these recordings. These various summaries can help users better understand the information presented from different angles, according to the company. The AI leverages multiple commercially available AI LLM models, including GPT-5, Claude Sonnet 4, and Gemini 2.5 Pro.

A button on the device can be pressed during calls, meetings, or lectures to highlight important moments, while AI beamforming microphones help reduce background noise while recording, according to the company. The unit can also be used to record information about sales transactions, patient notes, and personal thoughts like any voice recorder. All data can be shared, exported, or queried using Plaud Intelligence to answer questions about the meetings. The device is HIPAA- and GDPR-compliant.

The slim device can be attached to phones with a magnetic mount, such as Apple iPhones with MagSafe, or kept and used separately. The 0.95-inch OLED display with 600 nits of brightness is protected by Gorilla Glass while providing information about the unit's status and battery life. The battery provides up to 30 hours of use between recharges. The AI recorder measures 0.12 in. (2.99 mm) thick and weighs 1.1 oz. (30 g).

The Plaud Note Pro has an MSRP of $179 and is available for pre-order. The free plan provides up to 300 minutes of transcription service per month. The Pro plan at $99.99/year provides 1,200 minutes per month, while the Unlimited plan at $239.99/year provides unlimited minutes. Readers who can't wait for the launch can try one of Plaud's other products listed in the company's store on Amazon.
